too tired to work too awake to die
instead of meditating right now, i am going to take some time to procastinate and find the nature of my monklessness. it would seem easy enough to meditate given that it cost me anything except some precious time. it’s obvious enough that my yoga practice is greatly assisted by my yoga buddy and fine women of the establishment. and so i am only left with lame excuses for why i haven’t meditated in x months. i know it’s my racket because it’s a constant complaint and the only loser is me. fundmentally, i am so far from […]
love
“My love for you is to see you fulfilled in your beautiful and experiential journey.” on occasions when i take a long enough pause, i see love closer to me than i dare imagaine. for in the land of the loved, the monk is a one eye fool.
back to too much
sometimes i successfully deny that i have too much ‘work’ to do by taking vacations or throwing a party. but that state of denial comes crashing down all too quickly as i try to ‘catch’ up on so many different parts of the business. from the repetitive photo processing to the overdue credit statements, there’s a lot of grind that takes it toll on my style of working. if it hasn’t been evident enough, i tend to get bored by repetitive activities and the only saving grace is the perspective that it’s meditation in action. which is […]
on trips and dreams
it would only seem all down hill from here. i know that’s a terrible point of view to have considering how much life is left but somehow i feel like i need to be mentally prepare let it all go. i can dream bigger and i am sure it will be an onging process but i must take pause now to realize the fruition of quite a wonderful state of presence. and so i acknowledge that i have much more than i really care being that one of my musical idol played at our grand opening party […]
