wondering
sometimes i wonder if it is really the culture of this city that makes it truly difficult to meet people or is it just really me. as a matter fact, i think it’s the combination of those two factors that lead me to give up for the time being. i still have a picture of her on by my bedside but when i look at it, i don’t feel pain or sadness. i just hope that she will be okay and that she will benefit from our short time together. i think i need to start preparing […]

return of the king
had the small pleasure of doing nothing this satruday afternoon. the king return from his paradise pad and we just went around town and eat fine food and talk shit. i took out our new point and shoot camera, the G5, for a spin to see what it can do. I think the thing i like the most about those point and shoots is that it can do movies. little clips of movies are interesting for sure. i remember watching my recently departed cousin’s home made movies and i was sad and glad that he had made […]
back on the corporate saddle
it’s unavoidable that i will need to start shooting again. most of the photography assignments having been going to the other boys so i could focus on engineering but our pending success means i can’t just stay in a cave. it’s all good but i am definitely more rusty than i care to admit. it was pretty out of my zone but what the hell, i can also entertain myself with silly shots. _nice brown and green overtures _orange and curves _just curves please _simple but effective _the light in the middle
exercise 1a
i am so out of practice in my photography becaus i pick up the tilt shift lens today and i didn’t even know how to use it. sometimes i feel like i do everything else but photography. still, i like these simple tests i did.
cousins in suburbia
seems that every time i go back to the east coast to my relatives I stay with cousin with the cutest halfises kids. i took dozens of photos of them when i was in hong kong but they seem to love the camera everything i bring it out. anyway, if i was there for a less somber occasion, i may have taken more photos. but the couple of shots i did fire were enough to capture where they’re at in child development. _he’s going to grow up to be a wild cannon _she’s begining to use her […]
the past cometh again
_mia in dream form i remember one of the first chicks i like in college was this japanese women that was a bit little sport spice with a little nature kick. and so her memory is reignited tonight when i went to see the lead singer from red house painters play at the great american music hall. i wasn’t my intention to call my first girlfriend in colllege to go to the show with me but she left a message last week so it just happened after a few other rejections. we had dinner proably 15 months […]
portrait of a woman
it’s been a long time since i’ve been a photography job. the month or so has been a blurry coding marathon. i am just plowing through it because this is the hardest part of it all. the tediously near interesting enough mindset that sucks my mind into a dark corner of isolation. it’s ironic how cold my daily interface and i wonder why i am not good around people. anyway, i caught myself enjoying the process of my job during a corporate holiday gig. granted i am using enjoying myself after a couple of drinks at these […]
