it’s only mid February but summer plans are shaping up to be another year. today, i committed to shooting a wedding in france for a friend so i get to visit one of my favorite cities in the summer finally. i have always been to paris in the spring/winter so i am excited to revisit as a more ‘mature’ soul. i would find it hard to just go visit paris again just as a tourist but the opportunity to spend time with old and new friends will be an unexpected adventure. the following week after the french trip, i am looking forward to attending wanderlust for the first time. i hadn’t really realize the breadth of activities it offered like trail running, hiking, meditation and of course yoga, so the ‘conference’ felt right up my alley this year. at some point i have to squeeze in a nice long meditation retreat as well. and let’s not forget the mega RV road trip and all the little ones in between for the rest of the year. meanwhile, back on the work ranch, i am trying to take the business to the next level so i am knee deep in some big picture narratives. i won’t call it a pivotal year just yet but it’s shaping up to be very different from the previous years for sure.
