a commitment to the future

there’s no rational explantion for me to justify a trip to europe at the height of my material poverty in the past 5 years, but the decision was nonetheless important in my belief of the future. i remember the days of college when i paid rent with my credit card and carried a 5 digital debt most of my twenty something. but having achive the debt free status sometime ago, i find myself in a fimilar situation. and today, i made that commitment to the future again. no matter how deep i dig that hole, i believe […]

I’ve refrain from my any commentary on my view towards death in general as I would dig a hole much too deep for a short stay. I can’t talk about death without discussing the meaning of life. It’s interesting to see the variety of belief systems that come into light in a tradegic event such as this. I was slightly surprised that they were going to have a Buddhist ceremony in this […]

in light of death

i don’t think i’ve ever gotten the call before but i guess it was only a matter of time now. i was expecting that i would hear about my grandma first but it turns out that it will be one of my cousins. in an instance when i got the call, i knew that it was tragdic because i recognize the voice of in an asian man showing his emotions. it’s a cold monotone type of voice that smells of hidden weakness. and so my cousin mattter of factly reports that the first cousin that was born […]
