i had a pretty unproductive day doing a lot of stupid errands and sweating so i don’t look like i haven’t left my computer in two years. yeah, it was good to sweat and swim away my little worries. after a couple hours of wankish work – discussing information architecture and doing ad concepts that only photographers and designers like. the people we should be catering to for the big bucks don’t care how cutting and cool your ad is – just how good you are and much ass you’re going to kiss. anyway, the meat of the night was being under the influence of MJ and going through my old photo collection from the past three years. we’re picking photos for our party’s slide show and i am delighted to find so many little gems that were long forgotten. given the volume of shit i shoot (which relatively is very little compared the other boys), i still don’t have time to process the photos the way i would like to see it. takes too much time to tweak and play around with the right combniations of dyanmic range and tonality and whatever. so, it’s one of these nights that i sit around and tweak the photos until i am also giddy. then i realize that i haven’t shoot any but corporate shit for the past two years. it’s almost depressing how little i shoot, considering what my profession is. hopefully, i will make up for it down the line somehow. anyway, these were some of the little gems i found tonight…
