i thought i give my photojournalistic eye a chance at a “real” world event, a peace rally/march. i think the thing i don’t like about media events is just the pressure of every photographer trying to get into position and shit. sometimes i think as people rush to the main picture opportunity, i like to look around closer else where to capture a secondary scene. obviously i was doing this for a living i would probably run to the near photo opp position but today i just casually walked around and was intentionally not trying to be in the frontline. i don’t know if this is really an essay but i’ve categoized it as such for now. don’t know where to put it within my portfolio. i actually need to revamp my portofolio because some of the pictures look real bad now. well, not totally but i definitely have got some better images within the past 6 months.
here’s my favorite from the series:
beautiful images!
