she writes to me to tell me that she still loves me but she is engaged to her ex boyfriend. i am very sadden by her confusion and ignorance. i don’t know how to respond. i had hope she just stay in poland and live out her dreams that she had talked about when she went back to europe. but now i suspect she will come back to america and i will need to either give her no hope or go all the way. i fear that she will face much more hardships being in a relationship where she will grow to love someone because they are paying the bill and supporting her. i find it so sad that she has gone from “i need a break from this relationship, to i need a break from america and be with my family, to i am engaged with my ex boyfriend.” wow, am i really slow or she is just crazy? probably both!
