after 4 years of living in the essential bachelor pad, we finally got the upgrade that we have been praying for!! and not only is the top of the line german engineered peice of art, we don’t have to pay for the use of it. i am sure at some point he will have to raise the rent to compensate for continious use by loads of folks in the unit but for now, it’s time to enjoy life to it’s fullest. it’s quite wonderful to know that i never have to leave my little sancutary anymore because i am so tired of all the people and warm sunny days. i can now sit and vegitate on the couch writing in my journal while watching a DVD movie and of course drink tea. sometimes i wonder what i did to deserve all these convienences? or maybe it’s actually a curse disguised as a blessing so that i don’t whine about it ! to be honest, i have always been quite suspicious of my good fortune. it’s the good fortune in my life that has probably slow my quest to realize the truth sooner…for it’s much easier to “enjoy” the show when it’s good then sit through a terrible movie. alas, it’s all the same really because excuses sound better when in cyberspace.
