day three wasn’t meant to be. we should have wait towards the end of my stay to find out but we did it anyway. we went to the american consultate and got shit on by the US government. blah blah. i’ve already whined about it in a previous entry so no use trying to really remember hard what it felt like to be a loser in paradise. we’re going to beat the system because we’re going to think back on this and thank it for making me leave it all behind. so anyway, we just ended up walking around aimlessly in the city. looking for decent eats but just setttled for a cheap but good chinese noodle house. gotta love the asian brothers for providing me with the cheap and good in any city that i go to. i told her that the asian brotherhood is going to take over the world one city at a time and she should be glad to be dating the future victors. naturally she agreed and then kicked me in the butt to remind me that my brothers may rule the world but she rules me. ha ha. i heard a good one at the last wedding i shot. the father of the bride was giving a toast to the newlyweds and he said ‘when your mom and i got married, we decided that i should make all the major decisions and she will take care of all the minor decisions….(laughter and moaning from the crowd).. until this day, i haven’t made a major decision yet.” hmm, sounds like a wise guy.
_on the way back from the city, we stop by ‘mission bay’ to take a pisser. there’s a lot of bays in nz, so this isn’t special. as a matter of fact this sunset was rather flaccid, like the day.
