it’s late. real late even in elvish times. why do we envy the elves so much? one must wonder after the third watching of the two towers, why the elves are the pinnancle of evolution? what if you can live forever, look young, and still kick some orc’s ass? it has it’s appeal but maybe there is something better than living for ever. for certainly, the lifetime of memories that an immotal carries would be a quite a bruden. alas, i think there is an alternative view of reality that is greater than our fanatsy for immortality.
