i am listening to the new god speed cd that orangex gave me and it’s done right super yummy in the tummy. godspeed you black emperor was another band that my musical master introduced me a while back. it’s mostly instrumentiontal stuff but it simply rocks on a epic level. the songs tend to be very long and the energy these canadians(!) build up is almost over the top on a restraining sorta way. i’ve seen them once and the show just blew me away. i am not easily blown away but the intensely of climaxes and the tenderness of the quiet moments were simply awesome. okay, you go get it now and it will change your diaper.
