i went to my mentee’s 5th grade gradution ceremony today. it was real fun to take photos of these kids all dressed up and with all these proud parents from an underprevilged neighbhor. this is the kind of photography i really want do do more but sadly i am driven to weddings to buy more equipment and a big studio that i will probably not be around to enjoy. alas, time to enjoy the present again. _from the hip shot. i must of taken dozens of this woman. her face was so sad and without much life. somtimes i think it’s too easy to take great photos of kids, otherwise i wouldn’t mind doing it more often.

in our drive to get as much mileage out of our thousands of photographic assets we have, the orange team is going to be a collection of very desktop wallpapers for all the wonderful kids that love orange. i am pretty excited about the idea and i was able to squeeze in a couple of wallpaperish shoots from the wedding i shot today. _this is by far my fave. i am quite happy how this one turn out. _probably wouldn’t cut it as a wallpaper but i love the shot anyway.

_if she can vogue now, she will destory you later. _this is her twin brother. i partied at their daddy’s fat pad. _bunny hoppers! in my ten years of life in the bay area, i had never seen the bay to the breakers. this year, i made it out of bed by 8am and was drinking a bloody mary by 9am. of course, i was smart enough not to run in the bay to breakers but i sure enjoy the company of my favorite kids in the city.
