{"id":600,"date":"2005-05-15T00:16:57","date_gmt":"2005-05-15T08:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jack.orangephotography.com\/?p=600"},"modified":"2005-05-15T00:16:57","modified_gmt":"2005-05-15T08:16:57","slug":"volunteer-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jack.orangephotography.com\/?p=600","title":{"rendered":"volunteer work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>in the company of like minded people, it&#8217;s refreshing to bring myself  down a couple notches. to the likes of dharma inspired souls, all my accomplishments and talents are but distractions. sure i can tell myself that i am doing it &#8216;for the benefits of all sentential beings&#8217; but if i actually remember that on a daily basis, i wouldn&#8217;t care if the employees did a good job or not. ulimately, i know i would not get too caught up in trying too hard to lead anyone, even if we are paying them. for me, it&#8217;s more interesting that we don&#8217;t make a lot of money because truly, it makes many things easier in much respect. i often laugh at the stress people create for themselves when they have to choose between the 3 bedroom and the insurance policies that support it. no doubt i am no less guiltly with my dual monitor bubblified sound system. it&#8217;s all diminishing returns at this point.<\/p>\n<p>i got a call from a friend tonight and i am wondering to myself, who am i to get calls from friends?
