now that i am all poor and living the life of an unambitious entrepreur, i’ve rediscovered the joy of the public libaray. it’s of great fortunate that i am only 1 block away from this institution and really, i must utilize it more without abandon. as much as i’ve fantasize about having a big collection of books i don’t think that is gonig to happen anything soon so i better get back in the habit of being child like again when it comes to being a libaray. i remember my wonderful childhood memories of how exciting it was for me to go to the libaray because i love books so much then. i remember reading so much when i was young (before high school) but since then it’s been such a chore. it’s all those text books and dry reading that shut down the joy of reading for sure. but i think that’s changing now. normally i am not much of a history reader but i think a book i got recently reflects the changing my attitude towards reading. allthough i thought it was going to be a difficult read, the fourteen dalai lamas (a scared legacy of reincarnation)<\/a>., i’ve been up pass 1am reading the book for the last sevearl days. although it’s mostly an academic exercise in terms of straightfoward historical accounts, it’s still pretty inspiritional from a biographical perspective. I am still just reading about the first dalai lama but i am pretty sure i can finish this 500 pager! ah, the joys of mental stimulation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
