i hadn’t plan on going to darjeeling originally. as much as i love tea, it wasn’t all that exciting for me to see a tea farm. to be honest, i feel that way most of the trip. I think i wanted more to cling on the concept of going to India to feed my ego that i am a ‘world traveller’. Combine that moivation with wanting to take a nice long break from orange, it was sufficient to push me over the edge to check india of my list. it’s a terrible motivation to say the least but of course it will always be considered well worth despite the lack of passion behind it. after going over my photos again after a long 2 month break from it, i can see the pathetic attitude in the images. but i digress, darjeeling is not unlike any other city in india. a more romantic version of india in some capacity. i wasn’t there very long at all and i didn’t do anything that memorable besides running in my five fingers. <\/p>\n
