\nmy dad loves kids in general. i got some of his love for kids in me as well but probably not at his level. in the past 10 years since i’ve reestablished relations with my dad, i have grown to respect him more. I had long forgiven him for ‘destroying’ the family unit when he went off to his spiritual pilgrimage. But as i learned the level of his spiritual and material accomplishments, i have developed a mild admiration of his style of accomplishment. i am glad he’s back in my life and now that i am a dad as well, i can’t help but think about the choices he’s made that shape me. pictures of dad and uma at the bay area discovery museum, what a great place to take a kid.
