\nSpending quality time with my little monkey at one of my favorite parks in the east bay. She’s getting used to the backpack carrying and didn’t complain too much for the most part. we did about 4.5 miles and i was getting to hurt a little by the end. Not sure about using my traditional hiking shoes anymore. even though they have strong angle support, i nearly sprain it twice on the hike. i dread spraining my ankle in the middle of the forest with a fat dog and my baby. still, i am so glad i opted to go to the ‘jungle’ as she calls it over the street fair in berkeley. i was worried that she would get bored but she throughly enjoyed the experience. a couple of times as we’re walking and singing the alphabet, she says, i luv you daddy (without me asking her). that always make my day.
